The Bill of Rights, ratified 15th of December 1791, is the first 10 amendments to the United States Constitution.
This is what the First Amendment says:
Congress shall make no law respecting an establishment of religion, or prohibiting the free exercise thereof; or abridging the freedom of speech, or of the press; or the right of the people peaceably to assemble, and to petition the Government for a redress of grievances.
In our predominantly high tech society, expression of thought, ideas and business interactions has become fundamental for progress and development. So why is it that many online consumers today experience interferences with their freedom of speech?
This article is based on Mike Adam’s excellent report: The Censorship Master Plan Decoded, which can be downloaded or printed out for your convenience at www.infowars.com/emergency-report-the-censorship-master-plan-decoded/.
He breaks down the systematic way the tech companies are censoring consumers who have a different political view from the mostly Left-wing online platforms.
Part One:
The First Amendment is being assaulted by a “triple threat” tag-team:
1) Tech giants – They carry out the censorship, shadow banning, “doubt interruptions” demonetization, “deplatforming,” black box algorithms and email interference.
2) Establishment media – They create hysteria and hatred which are used to silence voices they dislike; i.e. InfoWars whom CNN has repeatedly called to be deplatformed from Facebook.
3) Third party fact-checkers and moderators – Organizations such as the Southern Poverty Law Center (SPLC) and Politifact flag opposing political speech (and natural healing), calling it “hate speech,” which then allows the tech giants to ban or de-platform accounts without accountability for discrimination against account owners.
Organizations such as the ACLU and the Electronic Frontier Foundation which claim to defend civil liberties have been quiet while a free speech “silent holocaust” is taking place in America today. Erasing conservative voices online could potentially impact the mid-term elections this year and lead the country down a dark path.
Google, Facebook, YouTube, CNN, the ACLU and Twitter have been compliant in violation of free speech and need to be held accountable for breaching the First Amendment Right of the people of America.
The erosion of free speech is detrimental for the online community. To be denied the ability to share a different opinion other than a given “narrative” is the definition of a totalitarian rule where cyberspace becomes the vehicle for the deliverance of one “official” opinion. With false ideas like fake science propaganda going around on Main Stream Media and the education system, room for debate becomes obsolete and false teachings continue to spread.
Furthermore, censorship by tech giants is an attack on the right to exist in a high tech society. Google, Facebook and others claim that they are private companies, giving them the right to censor whoever they wish without limits. However, this claim falls apart when engaged consumers use these services for professional purposes, social interactions and political debate.
Going along with this modern day “book burning” would mean surrendering our rights to a supreme intellect namely, the Leftist-communist style dictatorship who want nothing more than to control what we read, watch, eat, sell and buy over the internet….now where have I heard this before? The Bible, of course. Rev 13:16-18 states:
He required everyone — small and great, rich and poor, free and slave to be given a mark on the right hand or on the forehead. And no one could buy or sell anything without that mark, which was either the name of the beast or the number representing his name.
There you have it ladies and gentlemen, sounds like 1776 all over again where ancient kings unite with the radical Left to lord it over the populace in an attempt to resurrect the failed ideologies of the past into a controlled virtual reality utopia.
Today’s online presence for consumers is too substantial to ignore. “Shadow banning” by high tech companies is a direct threat to the livelihoods of many conservative organizations, which have spent years building their platforms to better serve their online communities. These tech giants are also censoring people based on the “color” of their speech targeting Trump supporters, conservative speech and even natural health material. The “tolerant” and “inclusive” Left is in essence projecting a majority of online consumers back to the era of discrimination in America, when the color of your skin determined the outcome of your future, and they are doing this with impunity.
This attempt to defame conservatives sends a negative message to private businesses and the media who may then feel justified to reject their services due to political objections. A good example of this would be the treatment of Sarah Sanders who was discriminated against for her affiliation with President Trump and was then thrown out of the Red Hen restaurant in Virginia. Then we have The View with Whoopi Goldberg, who shuns a formidable patriot like Judge Janine on live T.V. and walks her offstage.
The outright deception of these high tech companies is alarming considering that they have built their worldwide success on the backs of loyal and hard working customers. Not only have they lied about their free speech advocacy on their platforms, but they have also violated their contract and business codes with the general public by deciding who gets to sink, swim or float.
There is no denying that this nonsensical method of censorship stabs at the very heart of America’s fundamental constitutional values — the right to exist and the right to pursue life, liberty and happiness in our modern day world.
Bryan W. Van Norden, a communist professor of philosophy at Wuhan University in China believes that no one should be permitted to express their opinions online unless first “properly educated” in liberal philosophy.
What better way for tech giants to achieve this “illumined” goal than by ditching their opponents by the curbside while demanding First Amendment rights for themselves.
Getting shut off on YouTube or Facebook can damage a person’s reputation online making it difficult for the targeted individual to expand their outreach. It signals to others that you must be a crooked person whose contribution online cannot be trusted. The YouTube channel (“The Health Ranger”) owned by Mike Adams along with many others have had their accounts completely shut down. Sanctuary Church in Newfoundland, PA has also been subjected to censorship on YouTube.
Our First Amendment rights are being chipped away by a Leftist corporatist conglomerate whose desire is to have full control over internet usage. Now more than ever, it is important to inform lawmakers, local representatives and members of Congress about this serious breach in the nation’s constitutional law and demand the protection of free speech.
The Constitution clearly states that no one is above the law. Yet, tech giants have repeatedly broken the law by breaking business promises with their customers, by discriminating against them and shutting down consumer accounts whose speech they dislike.
George Washington once said:
“If the freedom of speech is taken away then, dumb and silent, we may be led, like sheep to the slaughter.”
